Resource Mining Corporation an Australian mining company listed on the Australian stock exchange (ASX: RMI) with tenements in Mpanda Tanzania, has declared in an interview with investor stream , that the company may be “sitting on an elephant” after rock samples returned great results of copper and gold.

Mpanda has seen an increase in interest from Artisanal and small-scale miners (ASM) and junior exploration companies fuelled by the global demand for copper. more than 200 artisanal activities have been going on on the tenements owned by Resource Mining Corporation.
Mark Gifford, the company’s geological consultant admitted that the company has made discoveries with assay reports (rock samples) showing 13.58% Cu with 3.24g/t Au. causing the company’s share price to more than double to AUD 3.7.
The company will continue with its sampling approach and has started a small assay drilling program which has also provided very good results, making the junior miner optimistic about its findings and the future of its project.
