With this strategic expansion, Muhukulu, a 100% Tanzanian-owned company, is transitioning from a small-scale to a mid-scale mining operation. The new tenements will allow the company to increase its output of Tantalite, a mineral essential for the global electronics industry due to its role in the production of capacitors used in smartphones, laptops, and other high-tech devices.

Muhukulu Rare Earth Mine’s leadership, comprised of dynamic Tanzanian entrepreneurs—where the oldest member is only 35—has positioned the company as a rising force in the production of conflict-free minerals. These newly acquired tenements are located in mineral-rich areas and are expected to yield high-grade Tantalite, as well as industrial-grade Beryls, which contain the valuable element Beryllium.
